Lemonade is a treat, but apart from the lemons, it isn’t particularly nutritious. Fortunately, sprucing it up with real nutritional value is as easy as it is delicious. We followed our favorite lemonade recipe (freshly squeezed lemons, water & a splash of home-made simple syrup) and muddled in rosemary (for high blood pressure) and (separately) mint (for digestion). To do this we used a muddler, but vigorously shaking the herbs in ice works just as well. Two leaves per glass will do the trick. We hope you enjoy this as much as we did!
*Note: Mint and rosemary weren’t used in the same drink. We used them separately for two different herb infused lemonades.
