A staple for any Pre-K/K/Elementary school classroom is an interactive calendar.
Squeezing vegetables into our kids’ diet can sometimes be a challenge. Fortunately, it’s a problem easily solved by a blender, apples, spinach, and a cheesecloth.
We moved swiftly though our schedule today. Better still, by the end of most sessions the kiddos were begging for more. Our schedule today (and most days) was as follows:
Mmmm. Croissants. What’s not to love? While we’re not quite adventurous enough to bake them from scratch, that doesn’t mean we can’t make them better.
I’m not a fan of pine trees. They constantly shed pine needles, they acidify the soil, and their sap can be a real pain in the butt.
“In-between meal snacks” are a great way to stave off hunger meltdowns, and when it comes to snacks, we love our smoothies. While the sky’s the limit when it comes to flavors, it helps to have a starting base. Ours is simple:
“We do not fear the unknown, we fear what we think we know about the unknown.” ~Teal Swan
It’s our FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today is mapped out to be a light first day, with the goal of getting the kids accustomed to our daily routine.
